The End is Near

Lots of things are coming to an end these days: the presidential election, second Trimester at school, and with it, in two weeks, my maternity leave.  Before you know it, Ms. Giovenco will have to move on to Ms. Eilers' classes (so those of you who have her for Fundamentals of College Writing will still get to see her!), and I will be back teaching Humanities.  I am excited to see all of you again on a daily basis and teach you more about women in American history, but I'm also kind of sad to leave my little boy home while I go off to work.  I will need all of your help to make this transition as smooth as possible -- and if I seem a little down the first day, you know why.  Just give me a big smile, and I'll be okay!

I hope you are putting forth your best efforts in these final two weeks.  Take advantage of every final opportunity you have to show proficiency on outcomes so you're not having to catch up in Trimester 2, when the amount of reading, in particular, increases dramatically.

See you all during intersession!
